Day tripping in the Chiltern Hills

What better way to enjoy the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend than a day trip to the Chiltern Hills?

We kicked off with lunch at the Frog in Skirmett for some pub grub. Food was delicious and they also had a gluten free menu which was great as one of our party suffers from a gluten intolerance.

After lunch we went on a 5 1/2 km walk which stops off at another 2 villages as well. There are a couple of steep hills but other than that it is a fairly leisurely walk, the perfect length if you’d like to focus more on seeing the pubs than a massive hike.
On the way, we had a drink in the Chequers Inn in Fingest which had a massive beer garden.
